They are specialized in the installation and maintenance of plants for the generation and distribution of electric power.
R.E.M. turnover is about 100 millions €, with more than 500 human resources, out of which 100 are specialized technicians.
The activities that these companies implement are project management and installation of low, medium, high tension eletric cables, development and installation of hydro-electric plants, photovoltaic, aeolian and co-generation plants.
Apart from the standard activities that the societies of the group work on, some of them develop and install waste-water treatment plants, steam distribution networks for residential heating, development and construction of factories in the textile, chemical and steel industries. They construct and maintain roads and bridges, public and privat autosufficient and eco-compatible building, centralized systems, etc.
Out of other plants realized by R.E.M. societies, several have been commissioned by Italian and foreign countries major electric power companies ENEL, ENI, A2A, EDISON, EDF, ONE, SNAM PROGETTI, TEKFEN.
